Know Your Numbers Wellness Screenings
A wellness screening is an event for employees to get preventative tests at the worksite. These tests will help employees understand their individual health risks. Providing a health screening as part of your wellness program is a great way to begin educating employees on their personal risks and the key preventative tests they should get on a regular basis. The screening will bring each employee’s health risks into focus. Once they have that information, they can begin to discuss their results with their physician, set personal health goals, and jump into wellness program activities. The earlier the risks are identified, the sooner the employee can begin working to reduce current risks and prevent new ones.
Screening includes lipid panel (total cholesterol, HDL, triglycerides, LDL), glucose, blood pressure, body composition (body fat v lean, body mass index), weight, height, & waist. Additional Testing may be added: PSA, A1C, CBC, CMP, Nicotine.

They can sit down with you and talk about your existing diet and what easy changes you can make towards a much healthier diet.
